    Skipping brumation?

Thanks. If I were her, I'd brumate. I keep asking her, "Why are you awake?" Sadly, she never answers ;)

    Skipping brumation?

Hi, not sure if this is behavior or health. I've seen posts and threads about dragons that haven't brumated before and I know that you can keep them from brumating but I'm wondering if they can skip a brumation on their own. Boga has brumated the past two winters and it's now almost January and...

I don’t know what to do with my beardie

I'm sure you're a good owner, you do care that Max has a good life. I don't know how you could really tell...but is Max visually or hearing impaired? If he doesn't see/hear you very well, you may startle him.

    Loose skin flap

Boga's in shed and part of her foot shed quickly/easily but around her toes there's been some that's taken longer. I fully admit to poking at her toes each day to see how it's progressing but I haven't pulled it. I lightly scratch with my nail, barely any pressure. So far it's not ready so she...

Help with a weird skin patch

Does he seem hurt or bothered by it? Could be a spot that got worn out earlier than the rest of the head, though it's at an odd spot. Is there something in his enclosure that might line up with that spot? My dragon's snout tends to shed more often because she bonks the doors.

HELP! Boga ate a piece of candy!

Thank you! I don't like putting her back in her viv when she does something I don't want as I don't want her to associate her tank with punishment, but I put her back pretty quickly and gave her a few drops of olive oil to help move it along.

HELP! Boga ate a piece of candy!

Ok, I used a candy cane to weight down a string to play with my cat knowing she would just chase it, not eat it. Boga was out and ran over to play and chomped down on the cane. It broke and before I could grab all the pieces, she grabbed one and chomped again. I shoved my thumb in her mouth and...

    Light Fixture Replacing Schedule

I think it was "All Living Things"? It came in a starter set before I knew they weren't very useful. I'm going with Fluker's for the new ones. The bulb was 150 watts, which it was rated for, and I only run 150w for a few months of the year. I usually use 100 or 75. I usually go with like...

    Light Fixture Replacing Schedule

Hello! This morning, to my absolute horror, one of Boga's light fixtures broke. And not just quit working, flames literally shot out of it. No one was hurt and aside from the broken and burnt light fixture, nothing was damaged. Boga was curious but unharmed. Did I miss something vital in my...

    Yellow shed

No. I didn't know if that would be safe. The fact that it smelled concerned me the most.

    Yellow shed

Boga's been in shed this past week, so I've been monitoring her for shedding issues (and also because I find it fascinating). Yesterday everything was normal, I figured her belly would be shedding fairly soon as the color was about right. This morning I picked her up to check and there was a...

Redoing the enclolsure - advice on materials and a ladder

I'm going to redo Boga's back wall. I figured I'd take the appropriate sized wood and then glue smooth rocks on it. Is superglue ok to use? I also want to make her a sort of shelf - she wants to be up high in the cool area, plus this would let her use more of her space. So I have the basic...
