we get the hornworms from a local pet store. we will probably order them from dubia.com next time tho. he has never tried superworms and he wont get them until tomorrow.

yes i tried bsfl but he would only eat them off my hand he would never really pick them off the salad and i struggled to keep them alive. hes definitely a cricket guy he lunged as soon as i showed him the bag last night

thank you the only way ive been able to get him to eat his greens is with flavored calcium so i suspect he may be getting a little to much. today he randomly decided he like pollen so im gonna hopefully be cutting back on the calcium a bit!

i know this is an old forum but i was just wondering if laying off the calcium helped? my dragons urate is looking very similar to yours and im just curious.

yes he moves to both throughout the day and then later in the day he hangs out on his log which is under the basking but not as high up

i was worried about dehydration but it think he gets plenty of water and his poops seem well hydrated so i didnt really think it was possible. is there anything that could be making it yellow or are they just off colored sometimes?

if her basking temps are getting over 115 you need to make them cooler. it doesnt look like you can really lower her basking spot but will it be possible to raise the lamp? or lower the basking spot if it actually is possible? what are her temps throughout the cage and what are you taking them with?

how old is she? for babies they like 105-110 and adults like typically 95-100 though all of them are a little different. anything over 115 is too hot

thank you i ordered the ones from dubia.com that are like barely as long as a quarter which im pretty sure is ok for him. hes 11 inches long so hes not super tiny anymore. when i get them in person if i feel like they are to long i can just give them to my hedgehog. what book is that it seems...

update so im getting superworms on thursday but im a little worried hes not eating enough. i know karrieree said he wont be eating as many as he will crickets because they are more filling but im still concerned. in the morning he eats around 5 roaches which is how many he used to eat...
