    Baby food

I was wondering if anyone can give me an idea on what would be an appropriate portion (serving/a days meal) of baby food for a 6-year-old bearded dragon. It's nearly impossible to get him to eat greens/vegetables so I thought I might try, at least for a little while to see how a regular intake...

Walking wobbly and possible vision issues

My apologies in advance for the trouble but, I thought I'd try to reach out to Traci one more time in hopes of getting her thoughts on this post. If anybody viewing this speaks to her soon I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't mind directing her to this thread. Thanks

    Fix for on/off thermostat

So I needn't be concerned that his basking light turns off/on now and then through out the the day?

    Fix for on/off thermostat

Well honestly that won't help with what I'm trying to resolve as its his basking bulb that's wired up this way. And I too would think it would effect the bulbs life however, I've never had an issue with bulbs burning out before they're due for a change

    Fix for on/off thermostat

They actually are on a timer for night and morning. I'm referring to turning on/off when set temp is reached

    Fix for on/off thermostat

Hello all, I'm trying to determine if there's any alternative to remedy a situation before spending the money on a proportional thermostat. I have a custom enclosure I made with lighting hardwired in, (so fixture for basking light can't be replaced) of which the basking lamp plug is connected to...

    DIY Resource Cage Cleaning Wipes

Though this would work for general cleaning, I assume it would be ineffective for...(Oh great now I can't think of the name of it) that parasite beardies can get where you have to take everything out of the enclosure until your beardie shows up negative for the parasite. Sorry I know, probably...

Walking wobbly and possible vision issues

No cloudiness, but he does get bubbles in his eyes, seems mostly after eating. I've struggled for quite some time getting him to eat veggies. He's always been stubborn about it. There's a few select things he'll eat a little of, (bell peppers, blueberries, and I've tried various baby foods) but...

Walking wobbly and possible vision issues

Being that it's his "down" season, he's not all that active in general but, from time to time when he does go for a stroll, he does spend a considerable amount of time under his basking light. However as I said, given the season, he's preferable to his "corner " more than anywhere else. Basking...

Walking wobbly and possible vision issues

Could you reread what you wrote, I'm hoping you had a typo. Or I'm confused. You said it's too close, then said, but... It's too close

Walking wobbly and possible vision issues

I think it's about 8 inches. You think that's too close? Also on another topic as I just thought of it, the dimmer in my thermostat seems to have crapped out, so the basking bulb currently turns off and on to adjust the temps through the thermostat should I be real concerned about this or is it...

Walking wobbly and possible vision issues

I've been caring for beardies for about 15 years. I've also been using this forum for guidance about that long too. I've received most of my reliable information from Traci herself. Suffice to say, I've got all of my critical bases covered where proper care is concerned. I'm hindsight I realize...

Dude It's not a coil. It's a tube, and the bulb is in a fixture appx 24 inches long
