    Scale rot/ yellow fungus

Final update as of 1/14/22 She’s doing great! The vet said the yellow spots weren’t concerning but I can continue to use the Lamisil if they grow or get darker, but as she’s going into shed, I hope she’ll just shed it all off. Thank you to everyone for the advice. We are finally home and she is...

    Scale rot/ yellow fungus

Is this the right kind? Does it need to be diluted at all?

    Scale rot/ yellow fungus

Thank you. I will try that and I will update again when we see my vet Monday in case anyone else has experienced this. Thanks everyone for all the advice. She is very loved and I tend to always fear the worst.

    Scale rot/ yellow fungus

Good to know,,, would you know where I could get some Lamisil that would be safe for her or what I ask for at the drugstore? I know it’s marketed for human antifungal but I’m not sure exactly what to buy.

    Scale rot/ yellow fungus

I don’t know,, I’ve had a decent amount of experience with females and I’ve had a few lay on me and none of her behavior is similar. She doesn’t have a dig box in her cage because she licks and eats everything so she gets supervised time in it. We are on the road right now from being away but we...

    Scale rot/ yellow fungus

According to my vet she doesn’t have eggs. It doesn’t feel like she does either but I do have a digbox for her in case.

    Scale rot/ yellow fungus

Well she just finished the round of antibiotics last week,, she had been straining to go to the bathroom and running around her cage constantly glass surfing and looked uncomfortable. Her belly was also distended. She also got X-rays which I can attach below. I had suspected eggs when I first...

    Scale rot/ yellow fungus

So we are on the road as we were visiting family over the holidays. We are driving back to Colorado now. We have a vet appt at 4:30 for helios on Monday,, in your experienced opinion,— can it wait until then? We will be home later tonight if it’s not too snowy through the mountains and I can go...

    Scale rot/ yellow fungus

We are driving back home to Colorado , so I’ll give her a bath tonight when we get to our hotel. However, I got up close to it and tried rubbing gently with a baby wipe already and it looks like the scales themselves are colored rather than good being stuck on top of them

    Scale rot/ yellow fungus

It was not an injection spot as I said above, she got her injections in her back thigh area

    Scale rot/ yellow fungus

I realized I said she got injections,, I just wanted to make it clear that this was NOT and injection site so there is no way it was caused by the needle.

    Scale rot/ yellow fungus

Help ease my mind… what does this look like to you? We have a vet appt on Monday. Husbandry is as near to perfect as can get in conjunction with vets advice, she just went through a round of baytril( intramuscular injection) for a suspected GI tract infection and I have noticed this recently. I...

    HIGH ALTITUDE LIVING

Update as of 9/27/21 Going on 3 weeks and just fine! I have added a personal humidifier like the ones you can find for your car to the top of her cage to help with humidity. It runs 2-3 hrs a day a very light mist and she seems to really enjoy it as it helps with the dryness up here.. a happy...

    HIGH ALTITUDE LIVING

Her appetite is normal (she is picky , lol) , but so far we are currently on the drive there. Her husbandry will remain exactly the same I was just curious as the altitude of where we previously lived in reno capped out at about 4,500 and 10,500ft is quite a huge jump. I have been unable to find...

    HIGH ALTITUDE LIVING

So I have a 2/3 year old beardie. She is in perfect health as far as we are aware and I am almost confident that her husbandry is as close to perfect as we can offer. We are moving from Reno NV, to a small town in Colorado. The problem is that the town we are moving to has a standing elevation...
