It really depends on the type of bug whether it is difficult or not. I would do some research on breeding for your bearded dragon's favorite bug. I know shipping can be expensive. I just buy my bugs from a reptile or pet store.

You can buy a cricket container but any container with breathing holes works. Make sure the container is not too small because then the crickets will die. If a cricket does die then take it out immediately or it will cause the other crickets to die.

As to the number of crickets a day, it depends on the age of the bearded dragon so you can ask your vet or look on reliable sources online. I usually recommend against dumping the whole bag of crickets in the tank since if your bearded dragon doesn't catch them all that day they will die and...

He doesn't have that problem anymore. Bandit won't take water off his snout so my vet said misting worked the same because some of the water will probably go in his mouth.

Yeah I got rid of that light and got a lightless heat lamp. Also Bandit didn't have trouble shedding. He was dehydrated because the humidity was low and he won't drink out of a water dish.

Humidity does usually matter. I had problems with Bandit when his humidity was too low and I misted once a day until I could get a new heat lamp. High humidity is also a major problem.

The basking light surface should be 95-100 Fahrenheit and the cool side should be 70-80 Fahrenheit. I don't know about the distance between tank and heating lamp. I just kind of adjusted mine until it was the right temperatures. Humidity should be around 30-40% though it doesn't matter as much...

Bandit's tank is in my room and his night heat lamp is a bright red light. It's hard for me to fall asleep since the heat lamp is so bright. Is a no light heat lamp a thing? Bandit also likes to walk around his tank and try different spots for sleeping. Could he do that if he had less light?
