I have some sandstone pieces I am considering putting in my tank, how exactly would I clean so they would be safe? Also, would sand (probably Vita-sand) be okay as a substrate for a BD that is 1year 9months to 2 years old?

When I go and try to pick up the Beardie he almost always runs away from my hand or, when I finally do hold him usually either jumps out of my hand and hits the tank wall or he wriggles out and drops on the tank floor. Anyone know why or have an explantion for this behavior?

Do bearded dragons drink water? I've never seen mine drink out of the water dish he has. However he has run through it couple times. He also licks the fake leaves that are in the tank, do they usually get water off of leaves? Should I mist the tank every so often? Help please.
