Agreed, Thorn and Xerces are both from the same Petco on the same day and they are amazing :mrgreen: I could spend all day laughing at their funny head movements, expressions when they se their reflections, excitement at the sound of their crickets under the tank ect...I do think i will...

In the past I've posted pics of my dragons enclosure and I am simply updating the pics as it has been several months...The tank is a 40 gallon breeder with repti-sun 10 bulbs and a basking lamp. I record the temps with digital probes inside the tank. for a substrate i use black and tan play sand...

well i bought two slates 16x16, and as you can see i left the sand underneath and a small outline around. If at any point i catch them eating the sand i will take action but they do not lick while scaling the side of the tank(usually more interested in their reflections). Next up...gages and UVB...

Today i'm headin up to home depot to get my tiles and from there my new gages and 10.0 repti-sun. Only question i have is how do people get their tiles fitted so perfectly i tried to measure but i still dont think it will be a perfect fit, and suggestions? :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Well i shouldn't be surprised, but good call on the underbelly. I just got home with their crickets(Xerces didn't eat much last time i fed them)and they both powned about 5 crickets a piece. Now the underbellies are both white. Thanks again! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Yeah basically they tell you to get everything you dont want like...repti/cali-sand, night lights, weak bulbs ect. :roll: but thanks a mill :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Thanks for your concern...already assesed the sand situation and comprehended the seperation inevitability. As for where, i did purchase them from the same store and same habitat. And the water dish, barely any water(i do know that they can drown when babies)They get most of their water from...

Just to make sure...i should turn off the reptiSUN as well, the lady at petco told me that while they are young they need it to prevent deformities
