    Nature Zone Bearded Dragon Bites?

I've had a few people tell me that the Nature Zone Bearded Dragon Bites are a great fortified diet for dragons, and with Jäger being so picky about veggies, I bought some, well both of my dragons LOVE them. It helps me control the number of bugs I need to purchase, and it assures that Jäger gets...

Jäger and Ollie - An update that is a long time coming!

It has been months since I've updated on Jäger and Ollie. I figured now was as good a time as any to update, and to combine their threads! Jäger has fully recovered from her ordeal of two impactions and coccidia. She's now eating like a champ and slowly gaining her weight back. The vet said she...

    Reptaid Discussion

Browneyes your beardie is GORGEOUS! I wish you luck, the reptaid really worked for me. The big girl with the suspected URI made a complete recovery after taking the reptaid for about a week. She has a new home now with one of my coworkers, and is doing fantastic. My other little girl (the...

    new puppy & a beardie

My dog and beardies get along just fine. They're always monitored closely, and I'm right there, but Jethro (the dog) will let the dragons crawl on him and run around, and he doesn't even care. Just make sure to always be right there, because anything can happen, and it can happen quickly.

A better way to keep crickets?

So, I need a better way to keep crickets. We live in an apartment, so I'm sort of tight on space. I use the large cricket keepers, for two different sizes of crickets. (Large and medium/small). They just get so disgusting so fast, it's unreal. I clean them every couple of days, but it's awful...

All he can eat every other day or X amount per day?

In my experiences, crickets need food and water at all times. I use flukers orange cubes. They're food water and nutrients all in one and it's not messy. As for the smell, well crickets stink, biut cleaning out the container every couple of days helps tremendously

All he can eat every other day or X amount per day?

A young beardie should be eating every day. I did the petco crickets for a while, and it was just too expensive (and I work there) but I have a local reptile store (LLL reptile) and I'm right down the road from their retail store, but they also ship worldwide. I get my crickets there, and...

    Karma, Karma Cha-.....beardie!!?

She's doing great. Still eating a ton, she's alert, but very relaxed. She fell asleep on the couch with me last night. So she's settling in well. She's basking right now. I finished the incubator, so if and when she lays eggs, i'm ready. she's been getting double calcium and a bath every other...

    The Ultimate Salad!

my local grocery store (the only place in the area, that i've found) has collard, dandelion and mustard greens. I've noticed that mine don't really like the mustards, but love the others. so i use those as a base. karma and ollie are happy with just that. jäger is a little more picky. i...

    Karma, Karma Cha-.....beardie!!?

A coworker of mine just called to tell me that Karma's eggs were in fact, fertile. Too bad she squashed the first ones. SO, if she is going to lay more, which I think she may, considering how she has been acting today (similarly to the way she acted the first time) my hubby is going to help/let...

    Karma, Karma Cha-.....beardie!!?

Yeah, she's still recovering. She's happy with her current warm basking spot and good UV light, and on each passing day, that black beard is getting smaller and smaller. She eats like a champ, haven't had a problem with that. I've also been giving her (and Jäger) reptaid, and it's helping A...

    Karma, Karma Cha-.....beardie!!?

I know. We wanted to incubate the eggs at the store, then once they were born, find GOOD (since the eggs would be mine, technically) homes for the youngins. Anyway. I have some more pictures of the new princess. This is how I found her sleeping this morning. Needless to say, she couldn't get...

    Ollie won't eat medium crickets

That makes sense. I should have thought of that. I'm such a bad mommy. I'll see about getting him some small crickets again.

    Ollie won't eat medium crickets

So Ollie is almost 11 inches long, so I upgraded him to medium crickets. the size is appropriate for the space between his eyes, but after eating them yesterday, he won't touch them today, at all. He doesn't even seem interested. He's eating his greens fine, currently downing them as we speak. I...

    Karma, Karma Cha-.....beardie!!?

No, I promise it's not a chameleon. I also promise to merge the threads for my 3 kids, it'll make my life and yours easier. So, here is the story of my Karma. I work at petco (please hold the rude comments, i hate it as much as you do) and I walked into work about a week and a half ago. I walk...

    Is this normal?

Well this morning, she threw up a little. What causes that? Eating too fast? It was only like one or two crickets and she ate more after and was fine. It was sort of like she had a bad taste in her mouth an it made her sick, because after she started chomping on one, she spit it out then threw up :/
