Hi guys! My beardie Stevie is brumating. She started fairly early, it's already been about a month. She has stopped eating completely now. I offer her salad every day but she doesn't touch it and will close her eyes and turn her head away if I offer superworms. She has had 2 bowel movements...

I sprinkled the calcium powder into the container the worms are being kept in. They crawl around in it constantly. Is that ok?

She has the reptisun 10 for uvb. She eats 15superworms one day, salad the next then nothing the third. That is how she was fed before and I didn't want to change it. I did add a calcium powder with d3 that she apparently hasn't had since she started superworms..

She is about 5 years old. I just got her last friday so I'm not entirely sure on her schedule. She didn't poop friday. Did it on my son saturday, on my daughter sunday and then didn't go till this afternoon (wednesday). Her basking is 104.3, her cool side is 86.4.

She went from pooping on us 2 days in a row to not pooping for 3 days, Took a massage to get everything moving again. Silly girl, I hope we didn't make her shy to poop putting her back in her enclosure after she did it.

Is it normal to have bits of superworm shell in the poop? Today would have been her third day without pooping but I massaged her in the bath and she went but there was a long white piece and then all these shell bits. Well and the green bits but I'm assuming that's normal.

Just finished changing around my crested gecko's habitat to make room for her new waterfall. What do you guys think? There is a hammock under the leaves and her food dish under that.

So Stevie just pooped on my son, and wow, after hamsters and geckos that is a lot bigger and stinkier than any of us were expecting lol. So my son is trying to get back to the cage slowly, the whole time he's like ewww she is Ewing on me, why is she doing this to me, I thought she liked me lol

I went and picked up some stuff today and got rid of the sand that she was given to me with. She seems a little po'd about the lack of digging lol. Anyways this is what it looks like for now, Any ides for hides? I checked out a few pet stores and everything they have is way too small for...

They had already named her Steven cause the pet store told them she was a he so I've ben calling her Stevie. She seems to respond so I didn't want to change it completely and confuse her.

My beardie came this morning, we just got back from the vet and she is perfectly healthy. I was a little worried but thankfully everything is good. She has had lunch and taken a bath and now we are sitting outside enjoying the sun. Thanks to everyone who has answered my paranoid questions this...

Is it normal for beardies to turn darker in the sun? She isn't puffing or stressed she just started showing black lines on her back and her beard turned darker brown?

So I went to go order my future beardie a Reptisun light but now I am confused as there is like 10 different ones.. At first I was gonna get the highest wattage cause yay more uvb but could that be dangerous? What is the difference between T5, T5HO, T8 and T8HO? I will be ordering her a carpet...
