    MBD?

When I look it up with all my info it tells me there's nobody available not even within 100miles.

    MBD?

I'll try to keep this short. I'm looking for a vet since ours shut down. But it's been difficult for the beardie and the dog as everywhere is full and we live in a rural area. I'm willing to drive but still. Enclosure info.. 4x2x2. Arcadia 14% linear Uvb Basking WHITE light 100w. Ceramic bulb...

Not sure if this is the right area to post

Thank you 😁 I do sometimes have no choice but to run a ceramic heat emitter, as it gets really chilly sometimes and I worry he will get much too cold. But I have everything connected to a thermostat controlling the temps. His tank is on the smaller side right now. But the 4x2x2 will FINALLY be...

Not sure if this is the right area to post

Asking about night time temps... do I HAVE to drop temps to 65/70 F° overnight? Is it ok if it remains around 75/80 F°? Just wondering if it could affect him. Because sometimes it still remains around that, even though we live in a colder area between September to May...

    Tail rot? Or old injury?

Updating to say, he's doing well still. Big and happy. Tail looks exactly the same as it always has but does not seem to bother him at all 😁

    Arcadia 12% vs 14% for a 4ft x 2ft x 2ft enclosure ! Maybe repeated post but I am going crazy

Ok i thought so. But had to make sure. I think the uvb i bought yesterday is a bit stronger than I need for my tank size right now but I do have it on top of the screen lid until I get his bigger tank. Thank you

    Arcadia 12% vs 14% for a 4ft x 2ft x 2ft enclosure ! Maybe repeated post but I am going crazy

Do you mean you face the uvb into the tank through the glass?? I've gone through an embarrassing amount of UVB bulbs to get this just right. My tanks smaller than 4x2x2 because I have to order or build one. But his basking spot is only 8inches from the basking light and ceramic Emitter.the...

    Tail rot? Or old injury?

I was going to ask about handling. He has never bitten, run away, hissed, puffed/black bearded us. We waited almost weeks before handling. Then moved to every other day. Now we handle once daily. While he's out he wants to burrow under us. And when we return him to his tank after short holding...

    Tail rot? Or old injury?

You guys have all been wonderful we got him a month ago for our 8 year olds birthday. And it's been a month plus of borderline obsessive research and questions to make sure I'm doing this right 😂 I'll update in a week or so on his tail tip 🥰

    Too much greens?

Ok. Thank you! I've heard that it's hard to get them to eat their greens. So far he eats them daily for me, and I don't want to discourage that 😄. So I'm glad that it's not causing issues for him.

    Tail rot? Or old injury?

Thank you 😁 I will update once we have some time to keep a close eye. I appreciate all the help I can get in being the owner he deserves!

    Too much greens?

My beardie (about 5 months old?) Is given greens daily. He chooses to pick at them off and on throughout the day. However today, he pooped twice regular tube shaped and then white urate. Then this evening, only urate. All white. Very minimal amount but no poop accompanied with the urate drop...

    Tail rot? Or old injury?

Thank you so much! Is any type of antibiotic ointment safe? I read Manuka honey as well. I'd like to get a jump on treating it now. That way it doesn't worsen. I'm trying my best to be a good knowledgeable owner. 😁

    Tail rot? Or old injury?

We adopted our beardie (around 4 months old.. estimated age on purchase date of 9/7/24) I bathe him 1 to 3 times weekly. But have had an area of concern on his tail tip since we brought him home. I'd like some peace of mind, it appears kinked/ dented. I want to make sure this isn't tail rot. We...
