Hey guys! Bodie has WAY more energy than last month. Even since completing her deworming medication really. She is up and about during the day and doesn’t get sleepy until right before her lights go off, no more napping for 3+ hours at the end of the day Unfortunately something new just...

She is doing good! Sorry for the gap in responding I was away on a trip, my dad and best friend took good care of her. She is more and more active the more settled she gets. I try to put some water-heavy veggies (usually zucchini) in her salads to help with hydration since she’s not great at...

She sleeps a lot, any reason for concern? I know it’s winter but as far as she’s concerned food and heat is more bountiful, so I’d think her biological clock would be for winter. She eats great and basks she just decides the day is over around 4pm and starts napping. I think her lights go on...

The dark spots definitely aren’t residue. She’s had many baths and scrubs and it stays. Looks like the scales are “burnt.” There’s nothing that could have actually burnt her that’s just how to best describe the look.

Worried about these spots on her front hands. More photos attached. Could this be skin cancer? 😰

Bodie had her first vet visit today! She was such a good girl and even pooped on the way there, so I was able to give them a sample! Doc recommended her a new calcium powder that has a safe level of vitamin D (low level) and new gut-loading food for her roaches. He also stressed that she...

After she pooped I switched her back onto dubia roaches, either lots of tiny ones (maybe 15-20?) or 4-5 larger (for her) ones. The more frequently she starts pooping I’ll increase her protein. Just trying to get a sense of how much she can eat still. Her little belly gets pretty full looking...

    Meet Bodie <3

I have noticed that Bodie got in her hide about 2 hours before bedtime. I peaked in there today at 4:30pm and she had her head down and eyes closed like she was trying to sleep already. I would adjust her down to a 10hr schedule but I’m worried about triggering brumation. These months might be...

    Stuck Shed

But Bodie is not young and healthy, she’s only small because she was neglected so badly for a year.

    Stuck Shed

Does anyone have a good photo of what stuck shed looks like though? The shed on her chin was BROWN and looked old so maybe it’s more like that? Came off pretty easy though. I just want to know for reference.

    Stuck Shed

I forgot to weigh her day 1 so she was 94 grams after being fed several days and not pooping and 82 AFTER pooping, poor girl. I haven’t weighed her since but I have noticed her upper back legs are getting some size to them which is great! Her legs were so skinny. Her pooping isn’t super regular...

Gave her liquid food and a little bit of olive oil today. Let me know any other tips to help her poop! Basking spot is 95-102 throughout the day. Her body isn’t used to digesting this often. Today is day 6 no poop.
