My beardie just hates bugs...I try to get him to eat them but he won't! He's only about 3 1/2 months old...I feed him greens and he gobbles them up. Is it okay if I could just feed him staple greens instead of bugs? And is there a way to get him to eat the bugs???

Ohh...okay, that's good! I have a great basking lamp at the moment so I'm gad I don't have to change it. I have a stick on strip that comes with the tank..I know those don't work properly. But, I can't seem to find a regular thermometer at any petstores or HomeDepot! :banghead: I haven't...

Thanks for the help! I researched for about a year because I wanted one, and I wasn't too happy to get everything as a gift because of the incorrect tank size and UVB light. Sadly... my mom can't get me a UVB for a little bit...how long can they go without one? Like, right now no money is...

At first, I thought it was okay but now Percy is just laying in the corner of his tank, sleeping most of the time. I get up in the morning for school around 6:50am...and he's asleep. I come home from school around 3:15. I can't find him in his tank, and he squished between his log and the tank...

Oh! That's so interesting! If anything weird starts to happen, I recommend to remove them ASAP. Just for safety. :D

30 CRICKETS?! Yikes! That's a lot! It may be the reason for the "lethargic" behavior. I would recommend to hold off on the feeding; more experienced bearded dragon owners should have more info to give.

I agree with dragonlover, you are possibly cooking the dragon...it's a common mistake, people really don't know what's hot enough! One thing about the eating issue, you might want to put your dragon in a box to feed him, I notice my beardie doesn't like to eat in his enclosure, the crickets...

Aww! I have awful eyes and I'm only 15! I need glasses on all the time or I'm practically bumping into everything...it's pointlessly annoying! :laughing6:

I'm sure your bearded dragon is just trying to stay warm. Sadly, the temperature in the tank is too low. Do you have a basking lamp that came w/ the set up? If not, you should get one ASAP or you can use a household lamp that's about 60watts. The temperature in the basking area should be about...

Just take the bugs out...if you didn't put them in there...they probably shouldn't be in there.
