    Phoenix isn't eating!

The UVB you are using does not give off the correct amount of UVB for a beardie. A reptile will NOT thrive without a correct set-up.As mentioned by another poster, the Reptisun 10.0 tube ( NOT bulb) is the best way to go. Change the sand out ASAP. You can use paper towels or newspaper ( cheaper...

Ill bearded dragon- vets are stumped?!

This UVB is awful :( It does not give off enough UVB. period. It can also cause blindness. THis is very common for a beardie that has been with the wrong UVB and mealworms ( little nutirtion and high impaction risk).

    Sudden, unexpected death.

aww. It does sound like impaction :( I wish petsores didn't recommend that terrible substrate. So sorry about your loss.

lenny is rolling iver when walking

is it the coil or tube reptisun 10.0? THere's a big difference between the 2. Agree! Wood chips can also be swallowed and can cause problems. Tile, reptile carpet, or paper towels are best.

aww. poor baby. A pic would help. What UVB does it have? Calcium? Sounds like MBD or impaction. :( Is it on sand? Hope we can get your little one better!

Babies should eat as much protein as possible 3X a day. It's often 50-100 crickets a day. What thermometer are you using? The basking temp should be around 105 for them. Mealworms are almost no nutirtional value also. Not sure why so many stores try to push them.

Any knowledgeable store would reccomend a reptisun 10.0 TUBE not coil and not reccomend babies live together.

A reptisun 10.0 tube is best even if they go out. How is he doing now? Can you post a pic ASAP!!!?

What substrate? POsting a pic would really help! Also, the coil one is no good. The tube reptilesun is much better. The coil doesn't let off enough UVB, and can cause MBD ( metabolic bone disease) and eye problems.

Are they on sand? What UVB do they use. It's still best to seperate them.

    Very latharjik!

PLEASE seperate him from the female ASAP. Beardies are not social and should be in their own enclosure. Also, meal worms are not good for them and can get stuck in their GI. Go over set-up/pictures as well. Impaction sounds likely.

    beardie eye

and yes, beardies can be that stupid. Regardless, beardies are solitary creatures and do best alone.
