Does Calcium with D3 replace UVB?

I was told by my vet that it wasnt necessary if they were eating veggies, however just because my beardies have done well i dont encourage anyone else to stop giving their beardies calcium. What works for one may not work for others.

Does Calcium with D3 replace UVB?

Im sure this will cause heads to turn but you asked for opinions so im giving my experience. First everyone of my beardies have UVB in their viv's, however i do not provide any type of calcium for my older beardies. I stopped giving it when they were about 2-3 years of age. They now range from...

Possibly a dumb question but.. (regarding water bowl).

No water bowls in my viv's either, regular baths as already mentioned and veggies. Water bowls can cause elevated humidity.

    Viv question

I have one low tank that belongs to my 12 year old dragon. Im not worried about her getting out and with no lid its easy to adjust temps. I think it would be hard to control temps in a low viv. I could be wrong, and i to like the doors infront of the viv. It makes it easy to clean and remove the...

UVB & UVA in one bulb or separate? *PICS*

I use the powersun for my tegu, however there is a great post on here that tells what lights do what and how much UVB they put out. For my beardies i still use the reptisun 10.0 . Yeah and the price on those lights are pretty high you can get them online much cheaper, i pay 45 for the powersun.

I'm a little worried about my dragon not eating.

I agree with blue do what you can to separate them. If in a big tank put something in to divide the tank. Its just temporary until you or your friend can get another set up, but make sure the UVB light is being shared. Good luck and in the meantime maybe someone else can give some suggestions.

My ole'girl has the same thing. The vet said it could be a cyst, but do to her age 12 i made the choice to just leave it alone. Like your dragon she's eating fine and theres no abscess in the mouth. However in your case with your dragons age i would highly recommend a vet visit..
