    Please help!!!

we only feed dubias, but sir henry only has bugs once a week now, if he chooses to eat them at all. a couple times a year we get some superworms or silk worms to give a break from the dubias. currently we have some silkworms. you could do all 3 and do a mix. the silks grow fast though so only...

    Heat lamp

that's interesting. i will add to the probably defective list. those are the bulbs i always use and have never had a problem with them. although i do have a solid top tank, so i don't have a dome, and usually use a 75W in winter and 50W in the summer. i suppose that could make a difference.

    Please help!!!

we don't do crickets. they are disease prone, can be noisy, and stink. plus, they die off quickly. it is possible the temps are off which could affect eating/digestion. or she could just not be hungry. if she's acting normally otherwise, i'd get the probes to verify temps and then just keep an...

    Please help!!!

sir henry for sure loves outside time! we just have a limited season where it is warm enough to do so on the north oregon coast. they should have a multivitamin at least once a week. sir henry hates anything powdered, so we get liquid calcium and vitamins from tracie, @Drache613 , who is a...

    Please help!!!

oh good! so far you have avoided most of the "kit" problems i encountered. the outside UVB is great! i'm not quite at the outside temps here at home that will allow that, but we're getting close. are you giving a multivitamin too, or just the calcium? you're going to want digital probes for...

    Please help!!!

oh she's a little cutie!!! for your uvb, is it a long tube light, or a compact/coil? you want a tube, the compact/coils are inadequate and cause health problems. the tubes have specific distances to have them based on the top of your enclosure and what strength of bulb. i'm sure @KarrieRee...

About once a year, to provide a break from dubias, I buy a pod from Coastal Silkworms. I have never been disappointed.

Insects & Veggies Together or Separate?

age is also a factor. at just under 4, sir henry has salads every day, and bugs once a week. sometimes he wants the bugs, sometimes not. when he was little, i always gave salads first, just to encourage him to eat them.

Help me help my dragon recover

i absolutely got lucky with my enclosure. it was right at the beginning of the covid pandemic lock down here in the US and I found a little mom and pop place in portland, oregon doing custom enclosures. i had to pick it up from them. they have since gone out of business, which makes me sad! it's...

Help! Rot/Fester-like thing on the roof of his mouth

not a problem. at some point you may see questions from @KarrieRee . she's our lighting specialist. lights and temps control everything else for a dragon's health, so work with her to rule out that part of the problem as well. outside that, feel free to post any question you may have. we are all...

Help me help my dragon recover

i totally understand. i had the same concerns too. but that is part of why i settled on the cabinets. if they can stand up to the weight of counter tops, etc, they could absolutely hold up an enclosure. i've had this set up for just about 3 years with no issues.
