Yeah no kidding. And I am so afraid no one is going to take them as the *****s are asking like $200 for 'breeding females'.

Though I cant be sure, those spots do look more than just dirt to me, though I dearly hope I am wrong :(

Hey, is anyone in the Anaheim, CA area able to take in some beardies? I browse Craigslist often, and see tons of poor beardies, but these look simply awful and I can't even imagine what kind of conditions they are in. I am not close, nor can I possibly take them in, but I am praying some one...

I personally wouldn't recommend it, it isn't worth the risk IMO. Try some shelf liner, they come in some really natural looking colors/textures. Good luck!

What have you named your beardie?

Have to house them together :(

Hey there, I am so sorry that you are going through this. Are you able to go to like a walmart/home depot type store and pick up a couple of giant rubbermaid tubs? They are really cheap and will work until you can get them something better.

    Hood for tube uvb

I would actually recommend the t5 over the t8, it is much stronger and will last longer. Most generic light housings will work, I just got the correct housing off of Amazon. When we say you don't need a hood, that is talking about the big, bulky things like this: A simple light fixture like...

    Growing normal?

Please don't listen to your friend, he does not know what he is talking about. Beardies NEED tube bulbs, not those coil ones. If you care about your dragon, dump the money needed into a good lighting setup. Sorry if this came off as harsh but sometimes that is all that will work.

Basking Bulb Bliss - How long do your bulbs last??

Yep, halogens are the way to go! Mine was actually already used when I started with it, and it has lasted for over two years now, and is still going strong!

    Is my tank too crowded?

I think the branches are awesome, only thing I would suggest is to get a non-loose substrate such as paper towels, newspaper, shelf liner, or tile. It looks great though, and I'm sure he is loving all of the variety of branches!

    Possible Brumation?

Hey guys, I would like to confirm the health of Loki. For the past week or so, he has become lethargic and been refusing to eat a lot. Personally I think it is just brumation, but I would like to check, as it is better safe than sorry. Also, he doesn't have a black beard and I have kept his...

Please Help. Arm Bleeding. No use of Legs.

Like the other posters said, your beardie needs to be taken to the vet RIGHT NOW. It must be a reptile vet, not a cat and dog vet. You can post pictures here Then use the XIMG to attach pics to your post. I am so sorry about your dragon not doing well
