Tile what type? as from what I've read they expand under heat and bubble
Slated ceramic tile found at Home Depot Lowes or your local home improvement store - nothing real coarse or real smooth - you dont want them slipping and you dont want abrasions on the feet and legs and belly

I'm not keen on ceramic as he is a climber and wouldn't wnat him falling down onto hard floor like that. I'm going with half reptile carpet and half lino on the cool side..
