Not to sound pushy, but I would reccomend that until you can get tile, at least remove the sand ASAP. You can use newspaper, paper towels, repti-carpet, or non-adhesive shelf liner. Any kind of particle substrate can cause impaction, especially calci-sand.

Most people on the forum will agree that calci-sand shouldnt be used on animals. If a beardie especially a bany ingests the sand it hardens into a cement-like substance in their stomach. That can cause impaction, and later, death. You might want to try a different non-particle substrate. Like...
