update: it seems that it was a shed that didn't quite make it off after a few warm baths and putting anti biotic cream on his tail today the shed was off still a bit on the tip but the majority of it came off :D i'm so happy that my Jager on the mend

really?!!! wow they have been living together for about 8 months now and this is the first incident she is about 2 years old and he is a little older they had one batch of eggs and i sold them to a pet store.

ya hes living with a smaller female, my room mate was taking care of him and by the state of his terrarium wasn't doing a very good job. i'll give him a bath tonight see if i can loosen up the shed. see if it helps
