Thanks for the info. Just for some backround: for a long he wouldn't start shedding. Probably 6 months or so. When he finally did, it also took a long time, and as of now he's on his back, belly, end of tail, and shoulder. Not sure if this changes anything.

Hello! Please double check for me, I have a really nice piece of fir that I would like to use as decor if it's safe.

I've seen the lists of wood that is toxic to bearded dragons, but I've never seen fir on neither the toxic or good side. Does anyone know if fir wood is safe to use as enclosure decor?

If I use a steam cleaner rather than chemicals to clean my beardie's enclosure, will only steam be effective enough? Or will I need to use steam + some sort of chemical? I'm trying to find a more efficient way to clean my beardie's cage, especially since his decor is wooden and his cage is...

I usually feed him dubia roaches, hornworms, and BSFL, with the occasional superworms, mealworms, and waxworms. I want to get him some silkworms but I haven't found any in stock for the longest time ever.

Just to make sure, I should lower his bug feedings to 3 times per week, and how many dubia roaches should I give him if they're around 0.75-1"? I don't only give him dubias, I give him a variety, but I measure bugs in terms if dubia roach portions ?

I've tried mixing bugs with the salad, putting bugs on top, making the salad move, hand feeding, bee pollen powder, and all kinds of greens and toppings. He still doesn't show too much interest.
