    Styrofoam cooler safety?

Dry ice is just the solid form of carbon dioxide and once it sublimates...it turns into gas form and does not leave residue. However, styrofoam can change shape under high heat...even when grouted. I think it would be hard to mount the lamps if you plan on building the whole viv out of styrofoam.

    Is cork tile background safe?

Thanks for replying. I was more concern about the wood they used actually. I thought the wood that is naturally resistant to insects and decay can't be used.

    Is cork tile background safe?

I want to use cork tile to decorate my viv. Here is the link. http://www.petmountain.com/show_product/11442-517192 I am concern about the material used for the tile... Since the description says it is highly resistant for mold. Any suggestions?

    Dubia vs Turkistan roaches?

What do you guy use to feed your Turkistan? I got some newly hatched because the bigger ones were all sold out. It seems like they drown themselves in oranges and grapes. I am now trying to use carrots, apple and oatmeal. I don't think water crystal will work on those babies...they might drown too.

    Helpp!

I am building my cage too. I used oaks plywood and sealed it with water based Polycrylic protective finish...I read somewhere on the forum that it can seal the wood. I would like to know if that is good enough. Should I add something on top of it?

    DIY bowl??

Yeah I think I won't mess with food and water just to be on the safe side. I just thought it would be a small project to start with instead of a big flatform. :)

    DIY bowl??

Would u guys recommend to make a bowl like how we make rocks and platforms? I was thinking about making a bowl but I don't know if it will be safe to use it to hold water or food. And I was wondering if the water will damage the sealant and make it look bad overtime too.

    Cutting larger crickets

I have read that if your dragon gets enough sun light you can omit D3. But for baby dragons they need to get multivitamin twice a week. I think you should do some more researches though.

    Female:male ratio too high?

I started my colony with 60 females and 6 males. It has been a month and I had 3 males died but all females were alright. I know that males have shorter life span than females but it is just weird... So I couldn't help thinking Maybe my female to male ratio is too high so all my males are...

    Cutting larger crickets

Yeah one time I ordered crickets from LLLreptile. The box was crushed but they said it was not covered by life arrival guarantee because my area was too hot!? I have heard that reptiworms/Phoenix worms are better than cricket because they are higher in calcium...

two feeding questions; soft bodied worms and cactus pads

Yesterday I fed my beardie cactus pad for the first time. I only cut of the spikes and he didn't eat much. Today I tried to peel it and mixed it with other veggies...Hopefully he will eat it this time.

    Cutting larger crickets

One time I was out of food and had to feed my baby canned crickets. I cut off the head cause it felt like the the hardest part of a cricket. But if you beardie is that small... You should consider feeding reptiworms. They last very long time and it is cheaper than crickets from petsmart.
