I am looking for a good breeder to get my next dragon from. I got my first from PetSmart and he was dead within two months. So, I am looking for a breeder who will sell me a healthy dragon, preferably at least 8".
The one I thought was wood is actually also resin. Can I use vinegar on these products? Will it make them dangerous for my pet?
I looked for contact info on the label and found none.
I got them from Petco. One is made of wood (it's a hide) and another polyester resin (it's a bogwood perch). I have more, but I couldn't find material descriptions for them.
To anyone who owns this brand of decor for their dragon, how do you clean it? Because the tag said no soaps or anything, so I'm wondering how to clean/disinfect the decor.
Thanks for the UVB bulb recommendations. I would love to move him into a better environment but I don't have a tub like that. It will only be a couple days before I am able to get to the store to get him the correct light fixture and a higher wattage bulb. The cool end of the tank is currently...
The babies (him included) at the Petco we got him from all seemed alert. I don't know how healthy they were, as he is my first dragon, but I can say that. We will be replacing the UV light in a couple days. Which UVB tube would you recommend for a 40 gallon aquarium?
We use small crickets (typically from Petco), but are looking into getting phoenix worms soon. He has been going to the bathroom about once a day, despite eating only two crickets in the past four days or so.
We were considering that because it has already gotten down as low as 66 degrees at...
We will be getting the UVB changed by Friday. He has never eaten well, though I feed him twice a day. He never eats more than five crickets at a time. The probe currently reads 102 exactly.
