So my beardie doesn't let me hold him but lets me hand feed him. Each time i touch him he puffs up and look like he might bite me and flinches away. I was just sitting next to his cage one day and had my hand out like an open hand next to his cage and after sitting there for a bit he ran at it...

I mean i dont force him lol i just back off and leave him alone and ive tried hand feeding him and it only happened once and yes he just finished shedding like two days ago

My month old beardie run frantically away a lot of the time when i try to just to pet him i havent picked him up since he started acting this way any advice on what i should do to tame him?

So my beardie is like a month old ive had him for about 3-4 weeks and at first he fine with my hand in the cage and let me pick him up sometimes, but now he seems to panic and run away and idk what to do I've been trying to tame him but it wont work?. HELP MEEEE

Im using the ReptiSun 5.0 compact fluorescent light and also its the dial type I'm thinking about purchasing one of those guns that measures heat where you point, would that be good?

Also he moves every now and then but like after he moves he just seems lifeless.

Yes he is a little guy and i have his daylight on the basking area and his UVB light on the cooler side where his food and water is at and i only have a two thermometers and one of those things that measure humidity which is at 40.
