    Testing for Malnutrition

The UVB tube is a 5.0 5t and the mercury bulb brand is lucky Herp. It does get warm but we have to midst because of the low humidity which keeps it cool. The warm side is 100f and 80-86 on the cool side.

    Testing for Malnutrition

Her body is 7 inches and her total length is 12 inches. However her tail is short so that's probably where the extra inches are. Thanks for your help!

Hi y'all, My Bearded Dragon Nellie hasn't grow to an adult size and she is 18 to 19 months old. Is this normal? She has MBD(we are working on fixing) and has recently recovered from parasites. Is there anything to test for malnutrition? She has Pepers (yellow and Red are her favorite) everyday...

Swollen back and paralyzed in back legs

Hey guys! Nellie had taken a turn for the worst we feared a few days ago. She gave me the puppy eyes saying " I am just about done with this." But the good news is we brought her to a chiropractor and she is doing much better now! She still is constapated on day 15 and we are trying to get some...

Swollen back and paralyzed in back legs

Hey guys! Nellie is doing well. Saturday she didn't want us to leave her so we took her with us everywhere. She was very chill and happy with all the attention she got from people who saw her on my shirt. She is moving her back legs a little more but not when walking or moving. We are...

Swollen back and paralyzed in back legs

The vet is aware and said to use mineral oil. The anti-inflammatory he gave us is working great! She can't poop because she can't lift her tail. She is still happy and loves snuggling. It's been 8 days now since the fall.

Swollen back and paralyzed in back legs

Hey guys! Nellie is using one of her back legs to push herself along but it's not back to normal. Her swelling has gone down because of her anti-inflammatory and she was still perky yesterday morning. Slowly through the day though she wasn't looking well. She changed colors a lot from turning...

Swollen back and paralyzed in back legs

Hey guys! Sorry my phone is stupid and accidentally sent before I was ready. Nellie is doing well. She still hasn't pooped but she seems normal and actually wants more holding time. We started mixing the mineral oil with applesauce and she enjoys that more. Her legs still twitch and she has...

Swollen back and paralyzed in back legs

I have bad news! Nellie has been constipated and has not pooped in a week. However she is still trying to and is fighting hard. We have been giving her 3-4 baths a day (she hates baths) and giving her little doses of mineral oil. Interestingly enough Her legs are no longer limp but paralyzed in...

Swollen back and paralyzed in back legs

She is doing good this morning! I am going to give her more pain killer. The legs haven't twitched in a bit and she still drags them but when I went to reposition her legs she pulled one away. We are getting a black light(one that just is heat) soon but right now it has been hot enough in the...
