I took my Piggy to his new home today. It was awful!! I don't know how people do this... I know he's with a great family and he's going to be taken care of really well but I'm completely heartbroken. Ugh... how do you guys deal with the pain of losing a pet? This is awful!

Thanks. I know it's a short trip, but I worry about him. I want him to be comfortable.

I'm giving my Piggy away this week and the lady who is taking him lives about an hour and a half away from me. I'm wondering about the best way to transport him. I have to take his tank apart to move it so he can't stay in there for the trip. I'm also thinking it may not be the best idea to...

I have thought about that, but I'm giving him away soon so there is no point ordering in bulk anymore. How many supers can he have in a day?

Spike is at least 20 inches long. I'll just try one worm and the veggies and see how he does, he's been a few days without crickets already, but he's been eating veggies here and there.

So I just drove an hour and a half to pick up crickets for Spike and the store was all sold out. I picked up some superworms instead. I know there has been some controversy over superworms, so just wondering if it's ok to use them to replace the crickets for a few days until I can make it back...

Leon to Leona! Are you specifically trying to find a new name that isn't a very drastic change, or are you just stumped for names altogether?

I don't know the right answer to this question, but in my opinion, I certainly wouldn't be surprised if his behaviour has something to do with the weather! Most animals react to weather in some way or another. (He may also just want to get out and run around a little.)

It's going to be at least a four day trip, I just don't see how it will work. I'm sure no hotels will want him inside, plus his tank is impossible for me to transport in my car.

Keep in mind though that you'll want to keep a hand on him if he's on your shoulder in case he jumps! I know my dragon isn't the only one who likes to try to jump from high points. They don't seem to understand that they can't fly...

Yes, I put an ad up in the "For Free" section, I also just put an ad up on kijiji. I have a friend in town who says he will take him but I really don't want him to, he's an inexperienced owner and doesn't know anything about bearded dragons. I feel so bad that I have to give my little buddy...

I'm moving back to Ontario and I can't take my beardie with me but no one seems to want to adopt him. If I can't find someone to take him, what do I do?? Where else can I take him?
