meby get a thermometer and put it out and see how cold it gets at night and how hot it gets during the day. If your garage is anything like mine it will get super cold at night and really hot during the day.

An outdoor enclousure is probly not the best idea there are all kinds of natural predators that will do anything to get a free meal. how cold does your garage get? if it gets super cold then its probably best to wait till later in life when you can keep them in the house at a stable temp

so you dont have a UVB light? the twitching makes me think that its the start of MBD but its strange that its just starting now if hes never had a UVB. Is it possible that he ate some of the litter?

Also what UVB bulb do you use? how old is it? if hes not eatting you could try syringe feeding him some squash and turkey baby food, just drip some on his nose and hopfully he will lick it up.
