UPDATE I gave a half dose of panacur to him on Friday, in 7 to 14 days I will give another half dose to kill any eggs. He is now eating by himself again, couldn't be happier. Thanks for the help everyone

I'm giving him metronidazole, he's gone through his last treatment. Panacur with antiprotozoal is on order. I don't know what kind of parasites he has..

UPDATE He is still not eating by himself. I have purchased a ceramic heat emitter for night time, and have upgraded my uvb to a reptisun 10.0 t8 fluorescent bulb. He is on his last dose of meds for parasites, and the panacur hasn't arrived yet for the pinworms. Trying different methods to...

I have a 3 year old beardie. The past month, he went from having a healthy appetite to not eating at all. I have had to force feed him baby food through a syringe for the past couple weeks. I had taken him to the vet and he has a parasite and pinworms. He is in the middle of antibiotic...

Update: This morning the temperature was over 100 and my beardie is loving it. I fixed his basking spot last night. I am curious about the flood light so I'm going to wire in a 75w halogen flood light with a dimmer for backup! Thanks everyone

Noted.. I will be switching him to a 90 gallon in a month, and I am concerned about how this will work. Switching back to a 100w doesn't make sense to me if the 150w isn't putting out enough? I have temporarily lowered the heat light 12" above the basking spot until i can figure out a better...

I am switching my compact uvb out with a fluorescent uvb. I was going to try to put a 100 w ceramic heat emitter in my double dome along with my 150 w bulb

I have a 40 gallon tank, and a 150 watt heat bulb, and my temperatures won't seem to go above 90.. any suggestions?

I'm trying to avoid the vet because they want around 200$ for an appointment and a poop sample.. I've been researching about liquid panacur dewormer and I guess it helps with parasites too. Is anyone able to shed some light on what medications and probiotics to use for parasites?

Update After giving him the applesauce and two wax worms he has passed a very smelly, runny poop. There was a spot of blood in this poop. Could this be from pushing too hard for a long time? I am trying to self diagnose this because the vet wants an enormous amount of money for me to bring him...

Thanks, I will shop around for a fluorescent tube uvb. Also, I fed him some apple sauce mixed with canola oil with a syringe to try to flush his system out.
