My dragon is a male, 19.5” dragon under a year (March/April baby about) and loves to shove his nose into my neck and taste/lick me. He also likes to do what I call “petting” and he like pets (and scratches) my shoulder and hair. Does anyone else’s dragon have these behaviors?

Can bearded dragons have food allergies?

UPDATE The vet did say it was uncommon for there to be food allergies, but considering mine is in good health other than very mildly irritated gums, which could be healing from the irritation the dubias caused to my little ones body, and I got some mouth gel to rub in there to help prevent mouth...

Can bearded dragons have food allergies?

He has been done shedding for two weeks now, and this last week I took him off the Dubias, and he put on nearly all the weight he was lost while eating them back on this week. He's also happier, more energetic, doesn't do the gag/cough at the sky thing anymore, and it started the first/second...

Can bearded dragons have food allergies?

I swapped out crickets for dubias and BSFL like a month ago, and it seems whenever I feed my 7-8 mo old male bearded dragon, about 18 inches, the dubias he does a coughing/gagging thing. He looks up and like gags/swallows with a blackened beard. He had never done it before the dubias and when I...

Are people serious. Why dont you listen to advice given

No it’s cool that you have that goal to make that change! Seriously, work your way up in the company and be that change! That’s the cool thing, we always keep learning new things, and maybe at one point those pamphlets were the known standard of care, but it’s obviously become outdated as we...

Are people serious. Why dont you listen to advice given

I luckily have a lot of really great, and informed, young ladies at my local Petsmart. They all had owned bearded dragons and one even directed me to this site, which I learned a lot from. I understand how not every employee may know from experience with certain pets though, especially exotics...

    Noise Question

I mean... They do have sensitive hearing, but I watch netflix every night on my tablet and mine seems to sleep just fine. He just goes into the hide if I have my light on and zonks out. I don't have my tablet particularly loud and on weekends, if I am playing it for background noise I set it up...

    6 mo old beardie issues

I ordered mine from Amazon, but I spotted them with the bird stuff the other day when I was at my local Petsmart. I learned about them on a site of a guy dedicated to bd's. I always cross reference before I believe something. They are really light weight, white, and kinda remind me of little...

    6 mo old beardie issues

Mine was 8.4oz last night and it's about 238 grams and he is 16 in. Mine is quite a piggy though and was eating like 40-50 crickets a day, and a bowl full of veggies. He gets a strawberry, four blueberries or a chunk of apple once a week as a treat to go with his dark greens or squash (peppers...

PLEASE HELP, WORRIED ABOUT MY BEARDIE!!!

Mine started slowing down eating over the last two weeks (6 mo) and has been hiding a lot as well starting the same week you posted. The weather really did a 180 from 90's+F over the weekend to 40's/50's that week. Another gal in the same area with a similarly aged beardie said she thought it...

    6 mo old beardie issues

Its fun that you are getting a 75! Mine will be in a 50 for a couple years until I move to a place that I have more space. A 75 won't fit in my small room unfortunatly.
