shes still having trouble moving but that hasnt stopped her from trying to go everywhere. shes eating on her own 99% of the time. thanks all of you guys!
she is moving around alot more. still cant move great like she used to but shes really trying and very determined to get places. she is also going into shed it appears. we are continuing to give her food dusted in calcium. she isnt eating or drinking on her own but she isnt fighting it as much...
i have no idea what kind if infection they think she has. they didnt say. they said theres nothing abnormal like a ruptured egg in her xrays. and she can move all her legs, her front right leg seems to be the weekest, but they all seem too weak to carry her weight or anything. shes been using...
We are finished with her week of medicine. she still is having alot of problems moving. she still will not eat or drink on her own. shes way more alert but other than that nothings changed it seems. ill give her more time to recover and see if anything changes.
it seems the got to her sooner than expected. xrays show nothing abnormal, but a blood test showed she has an infection so shes now on anti inflamatory and anti biotic medication. thank you all! ill let you know how she does
she is at the vet now. staying there over the weekend. our vet unfortunately doesnt specialize in reptiles but they have a vetinarian there that worked for our local zoo (and still does) as the reptile specialist and vet for the reptiles there. praying shes gonna be ok
@Drache no she barely ever shows her beard. but yes we are dusting all her food in calcium powder. twice a day. her light is a brand new reptisun 10.0 uvb item#FS-C10. the vet thought it was a calcium defficiancy as well but im not entirely sure if it would cause the extra problems?
i dont think she is bound up because she defacates and urinates just as well as usual like she did before the eggs. she is attentive and alert. but she just will not show interest in food or water and she has so much trouble moving around.
