thanks so much for responding, I bought the whole kit when I got spike, 20 gaL, Uv light, etc... The guy a the petstore hooked me up with all the stuff I need... I never thought in a million years I would love this little guy. I was the same when I got my dog, it was love at forst sight... lol

I went today and got my beardie some Vita Sand for his cage and I took the carpet out .. When I put Spike back in his home with the new Vita sand, he started eating it? Is this good?? Should I take it out and put carpet back in... He seems so comfy in the sand, He lays right where the heating...

I am new to this beardie thing to. I am finding all the information I can to properly take care of our new family member spike.... :lol: I would like to chat with ya some time.... :wink:
