    Hi, Tracie Thank you for your advise, we have been putting the honey on his leg. He gets most of his protein from vegetables or his dragon gel and that is limited. He is still alert and enjoying the extra attention.

    Thank you for your response and suggestion. He is not allowed outdoors (usually in the bed room or living room and no other animals). I checked his cage for bugs. Due to his age he does not eat live bugs, unless hand fed. Thanks for the website, your help is appreciated.
