I'm not exactly sure what they meant. They just said they only have one vet who did bearded dragons and that she couldn't take any more for getting checked out.

Do any of you know of a veterinary clinic around Graham, Washington that's cheapish? I tried three so far that said they would take bearded dragons but two of them don't have room and the third's price is far too high. They 54 dollars just for a regular check up and I don't have anywhere near...

Sorry, I actually completely forgot about this since I figured everyone left it haha. I'm not sure what I can do for pictures since I don't have my camera at the moment but he has started opening his eye! Which is awesome because before that it had been about 3 months without him opening it.

Sorry I haven't been on here in a while. Busy week. Anyways we got everything set up and Draco has started going from both sides of his cage depending on the heat (Which is awesome). Had a job interview which I think went well, hopefully I get the job. Then I'll be able to help take care of...

No I was talking about just the light bulb. But it would be coming from the heated side. It would just be a lot easier if we didn't have to put it on the top of the cage (It's getting kinda crowded up there)

Oh one more question. Does the light need to be over the top of the cage? Or can we have it coming through the top part of the glass since we're not using it for heating purposes?

Currently I don't have my camera (I left it in my brothers car by accident). I could post some tomorrow along with what his new enclosure looks like with the new UV bulb and the spot light set up. He's got some color back though right now I think he's about to start shedding some time soon...

Oh and I think he actually figured out the whole basking thing on his own anyways. Because lately he's been switching between the two sides of his cage. We're still gonna put the spot light up anyways though :wink:

Alright that's what I was looking for! And then tonight we'll be adding his new UV fixture. Just to double check, you guys said to have his UV off at night right? So both the bulb and the UV light on during the day and then both of them off at night? That's another reason we can't just use a...

Oh and we live in Washington so the temperatures outside can easily go from 90 degrees to 60 on any given day

Yes I was talking about for a reptile specific basking bulb. A normal household light bulb wouldn't be enough to heat him unless it's really warm out already. That's why I was asking if putting a spot light along with his current heat bulb would work. So could someone answer that question...

Actually for a heat bulb that lights up is what I meant would cost 15-30 dollars (At least here it does). That's why I was asking if we could just put another light next to heat bulb. So we could actually afford it along with the new UV light that he needs. And then hopefully get him to a vet on...

One dollar? Try more around 15 to 30 dollars but I told you my brother is going to the store today. He can't exactly just spend all his money considering he has other expenses and is also saving up for a wedding. I'm hopefully going to have a job of my own in a week or two, then I'll be able to...

So does he actually need a new heat bulb? Or just something that makes a bright light? Because we were gonna get him a new UV bulb that's really bright and then if that's not bright enough then just set up a light bulb next to everything else. His current heat bulb is keeping his temp perfect...
