    Female going for operation.

Unfortunately, my little Viserys didnt make it. She made it through the operation and started to recover well, but then, a few hours before I was going to pick her up, she just went straight down hill and had to be put down. This is a very sad day and she will be missed. My and my partner...

    Female going for operation.

Thanks guys, she is going down for her operation in just over an hour, I really hope she pulls through. I have used kitchen paper to line her tank with and will include a blanket for her to have on her basking spot. She doesn't deserve to go through this, she is only 3!

    Female going for operation.

Hi all, I have posted on here before about a potential egg bound issue. It turns out she isn't egg bound but is over producing the egg follicles (I didnt even know this could happen). This has caused her to produce alot of fluid in the abdomen. She has been given pain killers and antibiotics and...

Hi Tracie, I have just got back from the vets and it turns out she hasn't got eggs left inside her but she has over produced the egg follicles and now needs to get her reproductive system removed. I did so much research and not once came across this problem and now I want to do all I can to get...

    Potential egg bound problem

Oh I see, well the UV bulb is placed in the top corner of the vivarium, I want aware that the distance was a factor. The guy at the reptile shop told me it was ok. But my tank is 2ft high. Is that too far? And for the record, it's only a wobble when she walks. Her head doesn't wobble and she has...

    Potential egg bound problem

Unfortunately I cant I'm at work, but she has a 150watt basking bulb, and 4ft uvb fluorescent tube (Arcadia brand I believe) with reflector. Logs and rocks to climb on. Substrate is topsoil/playsand mix (only put her on that a few days ago). Anything else I can answer? :)

    Potential egg bound problem

Hi there, no the temps go down to about 83f on the cool side but you are right, it is a little too warm, I will lower it down a few degrees and see if that helps. She is not dehydrated, I give all my dragons greens that have been sprayed with water and that is normally enough water for the...

    Potential egg bound problem

Thanks for getting back to me, I will be getting her booked in for an ultrasound but I cant do it until Friday. She hasn't black bearded at all, she still moves around but I have noticed today that she kind of moves with a wobble. She almost woddles from side to side with each step. She has lost...

    Potential egg bound problem

Hi everyone, so my female beardie layed some infertile eggs about a month ago, and ever since she hasn't really got her appetite back. I have offered her lots of calcium cover insects but she shows little to no interest in them. Same with her greens, she used to be really good for eating her...

    Potential egg bound problem

She might have more eggs to lay but it's been over a week since she laid her last egg. Here are the pictures. The substrate is a sand and corn chip mix but will be changing it VERY soon to a sand/top soil/coco fibre mix (30/60/10). Her UV light is attached the the roof.
