Thanks, MrMatt. That's the one I use as my "go to" as well, but didn't see it. :(

    Amaranth greens?

Anyone know about these for bearded dragons? http://kitchen-parade-veggieventure.blogspot.com/2006/07/amaranth-greens.html

If you had a LOT of extra crix, what would you do with them?

I mean a LOT! I have 4,000 1-inch crickets that I can't use and I don't know anyone in my area (Philly) with a bigger lizard

Almost 10 months old, could it be brumation?

Thanks so much for replying! I think they have stopped growing (not just during this, but a few months ago), so it seems like they may be full size for them - they had very small parents. I'm off to read up!

Almost 10 months old, could it be brumation?

Our dragons are eating less and hiding in the corners (face to the wall) dozing during the day. They never usually sleep in the daytime. Could they be brumating already?

10 month old dragons on veggie strike

Our two ten month old dragons (who live in different cages, in different rooms) have gradually slowed down on their veggie eating, which was really good at around 6 months. They are still fine with their cricket meals (afternoon and evening) but the veggies they get in the a.m. just sit there...

    How do you stand it?

We ran out of our cricket shipment again, so I ran by a local "pet shoppe" to grab a couple hundred to tide us over a day or so. I had never been in this store, though I knew my DS used to buy supplies for the guinea pigs there. When we walked in, the first thing we saw was a ferret. His cage...

    Slight kink in the tail?

She has a 75 watt basking lamp and then another heat (ceramic) emitter - though the emitter is off right now because it is so warm. Her typical diet is as much crickets as she wants, some phoenix worms daily, and usually mustard/collard greens as her main veggie with others sprinkled in for fun :)

    Slight kink in the tail?

Reptisun 10 (a bit over 4 month old) and yep - calcium 5 days a week I'll try to get a picture in the next day.

    Slight kink in the tail?

Our 5.5 month old girl has a slight kink in her tail about an inch from the end. I don't remember seeing it until the last 3-4 weeks. I don't think she has been injured at all, it doesn't bother her to have it touched, and she is getting proper calcium and lighting. Can this just happen...

"Digging" on the tile (5.5 month old female)

My little girl, Ponce, is exhibiting some new digging behavior. She goes into the corner area of her enclosure and digs at the tiles. This has only started recently, so I'm not sure if it is due to a growth change for her or a weather/temp change in the room. It seems like she is young to be...

    Seriously growing babies!

Their colors are a little hard to see in these (flash washed them out some). I just can't believe how much they have grown.
