    Baby dragon feeding

At 3 months old, I'd offer two meals of crickets. Crickets are fine, but dubia's are very nutritious, and so are BSFL's. Yeah I never listen to anything anybody from Petco or Petsmart says. I once heard a Petco associate tell a new beardie owner to feed her baby dragon 20 crickets a week!! I...

    New tank size?

So its been ages since Mushu's treatment for MBD, and he's been doing great! He's been growing very well also, which is partly why I'm making this thread. His MBD had somewhat stunted his growth, but now that he's been treated, he has grown a lot. He's about 14 1/2 inches long, (I can't fully...

    Help please!

It could've scared her maybe... Have you given her baths before? Also, was the water cold or lukewarm? Bath water should be warm, but not hot

    MBD recovery success info

This thread was suggested by another user, for anyone looking for information regarding detecting, treating, and overall setup changes for bearded dragons with MBD. My young beardie had a slow appearance of symptoms, it didn't just happen overnight. First I noticed him sleeping A LOT, so much...

    Mushu update

I'd definitely post more details about everything! Do you think I should just post it here as a reply to my thread, or a new thread entirely?

    Mushu update

This is just an update on Mushu, who was diagnosed with MBD about a month and a half ago. He has made an AWESOME recovery, his appetite is back, he's eating his bugs and his veggies without a problem, and he's back to being active in his tank (and not sleeping all day). He's already grown...

    Mushu’s MBD

Mushu's blood work came back, and the vet is pretty sure he either had or still has an infection (raised white blood cells), so now he needs antibiotics, going up there today to get them, unfortunately they are an injection that I'm going to have to do myself... not looking forward to that...

    Mushu’s MBD

I’ve been using Repti-Calcium without D3, as well as another supplement with calcium and D3, but now he has the more powerful calcium from the vet. I will definitely post updates about him

    Mushu’s MBD

So we went to the professional reptile vet, Mushu had a physical exam, x-rays done, and a blood test. He definitely has a pretty bad case of MBD, and the lump in his back is actually because his back is broken (because of his thin bones). They gave him an injection of calcium, vitamin A and D...
