Hi all! I'm a newer dragon mom. My male loves to be out of his tank but when I let him out he turns really black and will usually puff up if I try to approach him. I don't know how to handle this. I don't want to get bit and he makes me nervous when he does this. Please help!

Hi everyone! I have a 4 month old and he lifts his toes. Sometimes it's all 4 and sometimes it just 1 or 2. He doesn't do it when he walks or runs and doesn't do it all the time. You can see his back toes lifted in the pic. Any help on what this could be would be helpful. Concerned beardie mom ?

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the feedback. Do you think using tweezers will be just as effective? I am a little Leary of holding the bugs with my fingers. I use Phoenix worms and crickets. Do Phoenix worms bite? If not i think I can get over my fear a little easier (I know I am a sissy lol!).
