thank you for the info. his hammock did fall while he was on it not long ago, could be that. unfortunately from those questions it is looking like it possibility could be tail rot. ill try to treat it at home first and if it doesnt go away ill take him to the vet :)

I noticed this a few days ago and I feel like its getting worse. The end of his tail looks odd, skinnier and it feels dry. I will take him to the vet, but is there anything I can do in the meantime? I read you can soak it in betadine and put neosporin on it, is that true?
