I have several bulbs that I change out depending on the temps in the viv. All are clear bulbs 40 watts up to 150 in the winter.

I switch between 3 different bulbs depending on the temp that the house is staying at. I tend to go from 2 40 watts to a CHE and a 150, summer to winter.

I used the Command Strips to hang my light on the glass when my beardie was in a glass tank. These worked out really well.

The sets that you make are what inspired me to make one. They are so much nicer than what I have see in stores, and the beardies in pictures with them look so happy. Now I have to make another one to fit in the new enclosure. :lol:

I made one out of some scrap denim I had, and just used safety pins in the corners to hook on the Command Hooks. This let me adjust the tension on the corners. Here is a picture when Blaze was a little beardie.

To seal it you can use Modge Podge. As to paint I am unsure.

You can also check Freecycle.org in your area. We built a chicken coop mostly from there and craigslist.

This may be silly but turn it on its side? If you make a base for it then you have a 4x2x2 viv.

I believe that you need to seal it like with Modge podge.

Until just last month Blaze was getting all of his baths in the bathroom sink. I am lucky that our sink is a very good size. The sink is much easier to keep from hanging over your beardie.

I did a search for hammocks and found several posts. I made one out of a denim square: folded in half sewed the edges I used the command hooks and put safety pins on the the corners to hang it up.
