My baby beardie was waving at me last night. I assume this is a sign of submission and not an amorous female. My question is: Should I wave back or should I assume a position of dominance. I don't want to create an aggressive dragon by giving him a sign of submission. Probably just overthinking...

The cool end is about 79F. I also have an urn in there for shade/darkness, but he doesn't seem to use it. Thanks for the help.

It is a 75W spot in a 15 gallon tank. The beardie is about 6" long. I will have to suspend the light to move it up a bit. What is the perfect temp? Sorry about the noob questions. We just got the dragon yesterday and I want to get all this stuff dialed in. Thanks for the help.

If the bulb disturbs their sleep, how do I provide heat at night? Or is that even necessary? It was recommended to use a night light, but I've been to the desert and it's pretty cold at night.

Can I feed my beardie garden crickets? I have a ton of them. I use no pesticides/herbicides in the garden.

My temp probe measured 118F at the hot spot There are lots of cooler spots for him to go, but is it dangerous to have this high a temp in the tank? He tends to bask off the edge of the hot spot.

Does a beardie need gravel for their gullet? Thanks for any replies.

The night light is an infrared heat lamp. I also have the white spot bulb for the day, but I was just wondering if there was any reason for the white light . I also have a separate uvb.
