    LOST BABY BEARDIE!!!!

My experience with George, he is rather curious so what better name for him than George the Bearded Dragon. When he disappeared from his room, actually, it is the room he shares with me. He doesn't live in a cage. He lets me use it for my music room and computer work. When he was about 2, I left...

    Cutting your beardies nails!!!:)

I have a dragon that is 3 yrs old and never had his nails cut. His nails are quite long and only about 1/8 inch beyond the white part. Is it possible to do anything now to shorten his nails?

    Beardies and turtles together?

Thank you for all of your advice. For all of the reasons you have offered, I will not introduce a turtle of any kind into George's room. George doesn't need a room mate. He is happy just the way it is.

    Beardies and turtles together?

My beardie George is one and a half years old and free ranges in my music practice room (10'x12') He has a porch below a Repti-Sun 10.o UVB and the porch is elevated with a 40W bulb underneath. Early on in a cage there was a basking rock with a light shining on the rock from outside the cage. He...

    mealworms for Rankins?

TinyBlue I have recently found (like today) that our dragons sometimes go dormant and hide for weeks at a time then reappear. There is a narrow space behind a cabinet in the closet where he may have squeezed in for such a brief hibernation. At least there now is a plausible explanation for the...

    Rankins?

Claudiusx is correct. Your dragon is not a Rankin. The distinguishing feature on a Rankin is the series of dual polka dots down the back. This guy in the picture is a 3 months old Rankin, VERY active, a bit skittish even after frequent handling and quite voracious.

    mealworms for Rankins?

I bought a dragon after mine disappeared somehow. The "replacement" dragon was one of 4 at Petco and the most colorful and dramatically marked so he became mine. After researching I found that he is a Rankin. The distinguishing feature is the series of dual polka dots down the back. This guy in...

OMIGOSH! I LEFT THE DOOR OPEN!!!

In a previous post I was lamenting the escape of my dragon George. His "space" in my music room remains in the event he is found but in the meantime, unaccompanied by neither green eggs or ham, came Sam. Ironically, Sam was on a half price sale at Petco, Where I got George, also on a half price...
