When I first purchase my dubia roaches and opened the box, My hair sticks up and got the goosebumps. I was so afraid of them especially the adults. For about the first week, I wear gloves to handle them. Had few male escapes (had lid open) which freaked me. Hardly slept for a couple of days...

I purchased from 3 dealers and one of them have written all over the Box "Live insect or was it feeder (dont remember), Handle w/ care" while the other two have no label. The website was helpful. Lets say if they were to ask what kind of insect how should i reply? They would probably be shocked...

I think its a great deal since female dubias cost about $1 each. You should go back and get more females.

Hopefully this is the right place to put this post. I want to know how to ship dubia roaches. I'm planning to use USPS Priority mail but what is the procedure? Do I just drop them off (write all over the box "Live insects Handle with care") or tell them its perishable item and handle with care...
