Hey , sorry...I haven’t been able to bo on in a while. Hopefully someone answered your question. But, I have mine on top of the screen. The Arcadia 12% T5 is strong enough to do that. If it was a 10.0 T8 I would have suggested inside and under the screen top.

Aslo, you can get a tub and make a lay bin with a mix of sand and soil, slightly moist so the hole stays when she digs and place it in her cage. Big enough for her to be in and turn around and fairly deep.

I have a question for you...how are you measuring your temperatures? I see in your pictures you have the dial type thermometers. Unfortunately those can be inaccurate by as much as 10 degrees. I would invest at the very least in a digital probe you can get at any pet store usually or online...

Great work!! The new 10.0 tube will make a ton of difference as well as getting rid of the red heat lamp at night. Getting the proper UVB makes a huge difference in itself. They have in internal clock that sets everything(metabolism and hormones) on their day/night schedule so getting rid of...

Falcore had me cracking up last night so I had to snap a pic. Night one he slept in the back corner of the viv hiding under the plant. Last night, night 2, just hanging on the side of the log, head all tucked up in a little over hang. So cute!
