Okay so I checked and doesn't have the reflector and ordering one right now, thanks for the link and the advice!

There is no clear cover over the bulb, but not really sure what a reflector is?

Would that be the correct way to place the t8 UVB? I can change of it's wrong.

The white fixture inside the enclosure is a T8 Reptisun UVB bulb, I have it hanging about 12 inches from his lower hammock. I also just placed the probe on the top hammock and it's at 102 F.

I check his surface temperatures with infrared temp gun is that good way to get surface temperatures? Here is a picture of his enclosure.

I just got a 75 gallon tank for my bearded dragon and I'm having a hard time getting the temperatures right. Right now i have a 150watt bulb, a ceramic heater and a UVB fixture on the basking side during the day and it still only gets to about 92.. Can I get a higher watt basking bulb or will...

We used to have stick one but then I got a zoo med pointer temp reader that we use and take temperatures where the basking spots are.

We used the brown carpet for substrate, the uvb is not even a month old it has like white small white shielding around it I can take a picture of it if you would like. All his basking spots are about 9 inches aways from the uvb too.
