    My poor Jelly Bean

I have read about that also, but just figured it was not very common. How could I tell if that is the case?

    My poor Jelly Bean

She looks better thismorning... gave her a soak in sugar water. She pooped! Is this a good sign? I cleaned the area and applied ointment. I have paired her tank mate with another female so Jelly Bean is now back at home in her own tank, just alone. The prolapse seems to have gone back in a...

    My poor Jelly Bean

Thank you for the info... I have scoured the internet last night to get as much info as I can and came up with exactly what you said. I seperated them right away of course. Jelly Bean is now in a 10 gallon tank... small, I know but it's all I had for last night. I gave her a sugar water soak...

    My poor Jelly Bean

I went to check on my dragons only to find a blood bath. I have 2 female that have been kept in the same 40 gallon breeder thier entire lives (aprox. 3 years). I pulled Smiley out first and bathed her. She had blood on her snout and feet. No wounds. Then I went to get Jelly Bean. She was hiding...

    sick dragon

Mr. Spike seems a lot better. Not making quite so many faces after eating and is holding down :puke: food and passing it. Just isn't eating as much as normal now. I'm sure that will come in the next few days. You will be happy to hear that today I had the entire day off, and dedicated it to...

    sick dragon

I always make sure the temp is not too hot. Didn't mean to leave the wrong impression with the term "hot bath". Okay... here is what is going on for Mr. Spike... He is in a 40 gallon breeder. His substrate is ground walnut shells... want to put tile in soon. He has an ESU Reptile Desert 7% UVB...

    sick dragon

Mr. Spike pooped this morning. It looked normal, but only about half his usual load. We sill see how his salad goes today. It is dragon bathing day today, so he will go last after the 3 girls so he will be getting a tummy massage also. (maybe he is just faking to get the full spa treatment!) Off...

    sick dragon

Good to hear. The idea of forcing him didn't thrill me. I'm not sure on temp. He is still in the same set up from the previous owners, and I they only have one thermometer on the cool side. It reads between 75 and 80.

I have never fed him babyfood. My cousin told me I have to force it in his mouth. Is this true, or will he eat it off a spoon?

    sick dragon

Please help. I have a male beardie I call Mr. Spike. I got him about 6 weeks ago from some friends who's kids wern't taking care of him. They guessed him to be about 2 to 3 years old. They thought him to be a German Giant, but I doubt that. He seemed perfectly healthy when I got him exept for...

To mist or not to mist?

I was not a reptile person until Diva was left with me back in March. Now I am in love. I have taken in 3 more dragons this week and was wondering about misting. Is it nessesary? All my dragons are 2 and 3 years old and I don't believe they were misted by their previous owners. They get a...

    ?substrate?

Diva was left to me in March. Her tank has always had crushed walnut shell in the bottom. From what I have read and found form meeting other beardie owners, it seems the most common substrate to use is the paper towel method. I have just left the crushed shell in there though because it is...
