I've now had him for 5 days and just this morning he is way darker than yesterday. Should I be concerned how long should I wait before it can become an issue? Also, I have not seen him drink water yet and I tried the putting water on his nose and he refuses to lick it off any suggestions?

I switched to dubia and I have loved it much more than crickets! Crickets die off fast, smell, and are hard to feed. I recommend feeding the little guy dubia nymphs everyday 3x a day, as much as he will eat in 10-15 min. Hope I helped! ~Nova

I put my CHE in the in the middle of the cage above the screen top. I like the idea of the CHE but thermostats get pretty pricey. What wattage would you recommend for a 50-gallon tank to keep the temp in the 70s?
