I have been watching a lot of videos on enclosures and I am considering either using excavator clay or going bio active for my adult beardie. Any thoughts? Pros or cons? Any thoughts are appreciated.
Hello this is Stewart. I have had him for a couple of months now and just moved him to his new enclosure that I built. Also thanks to karrie and the lighting advice given he is back to normal and loves chilling on my foot.
I built this one from an old cabinet that I got from the habitat for humanity store. The nice thing is that there is space underneath that I will eventually be able to turn into a nice leopard gecko enclosure.

Thank you for you help I believe you were right about the uvb. I had put the lights on top of a window screen type screen not realizing how much it may block it. I have now removed the screen and got a digital probe thermometer. The basking area reached 106 after 10 minutes. Also the other bulb...
This is the enclosure I built. I have a solar glo 125 by exo terra on the left side and a reptisun 10.0 on the left with a 100 watt basking light. I will try to get a digital probe thermometer today.
