My bearded Dragon's foot is temporarily black and swollen

Thank you everyone for your feedback, my dad and I agree that she is a runt or has some growth issues, we defiantly are aware not to breed then below 2 years old. She never eats vegetables and I have to force feed her them, she eats live food and I add calcium powder to them. How can I get her...

Is walking your bearded dragon outside really safe?

I feel further trusting in this idea, I haven't seen any beardies being walked because I live in a quiet, small neighbourhood. I am in Australia though, it's just I've never seen people walking a pet lizard in my life. Thank you for your feedback, anyways!

Are stress marks a myth or are they an issue?

It makes sense, but I've never seen either of my bearded dragons show these marks other than when basking or sitting on a dark object.

Is walking your bearded dragon outside really safe?

So when I first got my two beardies in April 2017, I was told to never take them outside at all, even if they are in a plastic box. This was in case birds took them, which is still my biggest pet fear, to this day. But upon looking up on Wikihow.com, 'cool things to do with your bearded dragon'...

Are stress marks a myth or are they an issue?

So in my early stages of beardie-keeping, I observed my female beardie would escape my male beardie by climbing places he couldn't. He was growing faster than her so she was smaller and lighter. We have a stick that she still has now (in her recently given, own terrarium) but before any of that...

My bearded Dragon's foot is temporarily black and swollen

https://www.beardeddragon.org/media/57306/full I'm new to this website and the only photos are on my iPod. So it's really hard and frustrating to get an image uploaded, I think this is viewable. Edit: Yes it works, so you can see the right foot is fully fold-able and flexible, the left foot...

My bearded Dragon's foot is temporarily black and swollen

So recently I separated my two beardies that are a breeding pair. They are only 6 or 7 months old but we bought them when they were around 3, in April 2017. Aster (female) was always intimidated by Mungo (male). She eventually steered clear of eating their food, and hid away on their net and her...

What if someone made their room a beardie's room aswell?

So with the UVB, maybe they can have a UVB bulb at their resting area or their favourite basking area? Where ever they are the most would be good, but not anywhere were it might cause an Issue for the person in the room.

Why is my beardie eating ornaments in the terrarium?

But everyone on youtube that I can find uses sand for their lizards (any lizard). Even a famous zoo I've visited has Beardies in an enclosure with sand and rocks, so why is everyone ignoring this issue?

Why is sand so dangerous for beardies?

So recently I was awaken to the truth that repti-sand, sand substrate and calci-sand (any form of sand) is bad for bearded dragons. Impaction, choking, all were symptoms of a bearded dragon living in a sandy environment. But... wait, don't they live in our Aussie desert? The definition of...

Why can't beardies stand being inverted upside down?

Ahh, so since they are four legged creatures, -instinctively- being upside down on the ground would make you extremely vulnerable and immobile. They have no benefits of being upside down so their bodies evolved to be lying on the ground or on all fours. It makes a lot of sense now! Thank you.

What if someone made their room a beardie's room aswell?

Now that you mention those, you raised so many more ideas and issues. Maybe a low temp heating mat or a self-heating pillow for them to sleep in? XD Does Calcium powder cover for the lack of UVB? I hear that UVB and calcium powder are used for bone growth. You'd definitely need to have some...

Why is my beardie eating ornaments in the terrarium?

Take a look at my two terrariums on my facebook page to see the ornaments. I get that she can get impaction, but if it is as big of an issue as you say, why do people sell repti-sand, and why do Beardies in the wild survive with sand at their feet?
