    Escapee cricket chirping!!

So, despite having only bought the "silent" crickets this week we have had a cricket chirping away somewhere in the house!! It sounds like it's in the airing cupboard but can be heard all over the house, both upstairs and down. We've named him Jiminy but are wondering, how long is he likely to...

Can you settle an argument? Feeding times for babies?

We are having a heated discussion with our teenager who in the spirit of all teenagers (knowing everything) insists that as long as his 9 week old beardie eats his quota of bugs before lights out it doesn't matter when he's fed. This is brought on because teen doesn't get up until 1-2pm - we...

    Is my bearded dragon okay?

You shouldn't have any form of light on at night as it can cause sleep deprivation - beardies need darkness to sleep. It's my understanding that unless the house gets colder than 65 degrees night time heat is not needed.

    Is my bearded dragon okay?

I think you need a basking bulb in addition to what you have, which looks to me like a plain UVB bulb. The UVB bulb gives the correct light buts a basking bulb that gives off heat.

    Poorly dragon - any ideas?

Thanks for the replies. Just to clarify, we haven't "just left him with a pet shop" - we have returned him, as advised by them, to the reptile specialist from which we purchased him from three weeks ago. As DaisyDragon kindly pointed out you can find all the info in my ER post which you can...

    Poorly dragon - any ideas?

We have had to return our 12 week old boy to the shop so they can monitor him for a few days. He has become more and more lethargic and has stopped eating. I just called and after 24hrs with them he's no better which I guess suggests at least our set up was ok. He's not eaten since Sunday...

URGENT NOW PLEASE HELP? Lethargic baby dragon....

This morning Balerion is still very sleepy when in the viv but perks up and becomes much more active and alert when taken out and put on the bed with us. He's still not eating (hasn't since Sunday) but has pooped. He's lost 2g in weight. I rang the shop again and we're taking him in this...

So after going back in his cooler viv (temp reading from probe by him in the pic is 84 degrees - cool side is 79 degrees) Balerion is back to not moving and barely opening his eyes :( - we're at a loss https://goo.gl/photos/EHuV79mGaHBzrDga7

URGENT NOW PLEASE HELP? Lethargic baby dragon....

After an hour on the bed with H Balerion has perked right up - even whizzing about a bit. He did a big poo (on the bed again ? ) though refused to eat. He's now back in his (cooler) viv. He looks like a different dragon from this morning: https://goo.gl/photos/5yLNaoZwkeaEVDxS6

URGENT NOW PLEASE HELP? Lethargic baby dragon....

Hubby scrubbed the viv yesterday. Spoke to the shop again after they saw the above pics and they think it's too hot - the thermostat probe should be in the centre. So we've adjusted that. Too hot makes sense as he livened up after he was out on the bed yesterday for a while. He's out of the...
