    Stubbs isn't eating!

That's good to know. We've been worried about her. She even turns her nose up at blueberries, which she would try to live on if we would let her.

    Stubbs isn't eating!

So on top of being super hyperactive (see my last thread) our baby Stubbs isn't eating much. She'll have a couple of mealworms, maybe a darkling beetle or two every two or three days, and she'll eat maybe half the salad I put in for her. We last weighed her probably sometime in December or...

    Stubbs is freaking out!

No, she's just the biggest fussbudget ever. We don't know what to do with her. She likes going for walks around the block on our shoulders (my GF and I) but then she's right back at it when we get home.

    Stubbs is freaking out!

Okay, so for the last few weeks, our beardie Stubbs has been losing her mind. She is constantly glass surfing and only wants out to run around. We oblige her, put her back when she gets cold, but after a brief warm up, she's right back at it. She keeps going to the back door like she wants to go...

I may have to call in sick today...

I wanted to get up and grab another cup of coffee, but I guess she's decided against that for me.

    Bloated and not warming up

So I'm a little concerned about our Stubbs. Normally when I wake up in the morning and come down stairs, she's glass surfing and desperate to be let out to run around the house. Today she wasn't, she was sitting near, but not on her basking ledge, and when I picked her up, she felt bloated and...

Gaping on my shoulder? And other strange behaviors

Our little Stubbs is acting weird. The last couple days, on multiple occasions, she's just opened her mouth and sat there while sitting on my shoulder/chest. I know beardies will do that when basking to thermoregulate, but she's not exactly under a heat lamp when she's sitting out with me. She...

I totally get it, and I appreciate the concern. :) We've done our research, and we always do everything we can for her. We've sprung the money for insurance for her (as well as all the others - it's stupidly cheap for the peace of mind it's worth.) She's on a medicine regimen now (she decided...

Yeah, the mercury vapor bulb provides UVA, UVB, and heat, which is why we went with it. They tend to burn out a little faster, and they're a bit more expensive, but it's worth it. The hoods are sitting on top of a metal mesh top, and the mercury vapor is about 12" or so from her highest basking...

The image uploader isn't working right, but I can tell you all about her set up. Don't worry, we only got her from Petco, and generally have ignored everything they told us. She's in a 40 gallon breeder, with a 75w incandescent heat lamp and a 100 or 120w (I can't quite remember off the top of...

Hi all! I've lurked on these forums from time to time (when a Google search turns up a post for a question we have about our beardie) but figured I'd join now as I'm actually starting to have real questions. This is Stubbs: She's a little over a year old; we brought her home from the pet...
