Ordered my dubias! Do you suggest the glass tank over a plastic bin? I can get either for about the same price but the glass seems easier lol.

Just ordered my first batch of dubia :) I'm hoping to get a colony started, but there is one stipulation from the hubs, if a single roach escapes their enclosure they're goners. (he was being a little dramatic, but as few escapees as possible) So I either have to become a roach catching master...

I do have bioactive :) Almost.... couldn't get my first batch of springtails to propagate, so I've either got to buy some springtails and more isopods or wait until the snow is gone here :roll: I've just never put more than 60 in my tank at once, I'm not sure how many I can get away with...

I was actually just looking at taterbug's dubia/super/springtail setup and thinking about pulling together resources to do that, but I still think I would have left overs! Ha. Maybe between that and feeding some to Mr. Lizard I can put them to use :)

They don't provide much nutritional content but as long as you realize this and don't feed them a large amount at a time they pass through a healthy lizards digestive system just fine. I don't feed them often which is why I'm looking for ideas :wink: Not sure what to do with all the little buggers!
